What is going on with Coronavirus & Portland Real Estate Inventory Episode 2
Until we get through the coronavirus pandemic we will be recapping weekly numbers for residential listings and pending home sales. Our hope is these reports will help give clarity on the direction of the market.
Comparing the second and third weeks of March. Pending home sales decreased 21% from 674 to 534.
New listings increased by 23% from 446 to 578 As of March 24th’s there are currently 3,473 pending home sales and 3,516 active listings in the portland metro area.
The rate of homes pending in the first week on market also fell from 23% to 18%.
